He Shall Feed His Flock (Pedal Solo)

$8.00

Pedal Harp Solo. 2 Pages.

G.F. Handel (1685-1759) composed his most famous oratorio, “Messiah” in 1741- in just 24 days! His work depicts the life of Christ as inspired by the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. This piece usually features an alto voice telling the comforting words of the tender Shepherd caring for His flock. There is no harp part in Handel’s work. Janet has arranged it for solo harp and pairs it perfectly as a segue to “Gesu Bambino” with its continuously lulling 12/8 rhythm. Arrangements by Janet Witman.
