Reinhold Gliere (1875-1956) was born in Kyiv and studied violin and composition at the Moscow Conservatory. In the harp world, he is most known for his Harp Concerto, Op 74 (1938). Priere (Prayer) and Prelude are from his collection of short piano piece. Janet has arranged them for harp solos to be added to harp repertoire for recitals, reflective services and teaching.
