Abbe Maximilian Stadler (1748-1833) was an Austrian composer, musicologist, pianist and Benedictine monk. He titled this work “Psalm- Der Herr ist Mein Hirt” (The Lord in My Shepherd). Janet found it in a collection of piano pieces in her mother’s piano bench. She arranged it to be played comfortably on the harp, to bless the player as much as the listener.
