Jesuit priest, Michael Joncas composed this hymn in 1976, for a friend whose father passed on unexpectedly. It has brought comfort to people worldwide. I wrote this paraphrase in honor of my sister, Peggy McCauley who was lifted up in prayers by many while undergoing cancer treatment in Nov 2020. We rejoice in her healing today.
